HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS PICKS UP VICTORY AT SETON CATHOLIC (2024-04-19)

BINGHAMTON — Horseheads scored 10 goals between the second and third quarters in a 14-8 win over Seton Catholic on Friday night.

After a 3-3 first quarter, the Blue Raiders took control over the next two quarters.

Braden Woodworth had two goals and four assists for Horseheads.

Brogan Sullivan and Griffin Stevens each had three goals and an assist in the win.

Zach Lese had two goals and an assist and Colton Cox had two goals for Horseheads.

Brady Kelly and Cody Dale each finished with goals.

Andrew Potter and Luke L’Amoreaux each had two saves for Horseheads.

Stevens was 11-for-13 on face-offs and Boe Briggs was 6-for-11 for the Blue Raiders.

John Ricci had a goal and five assists for Seton Catholic and Rory Callahan had four goals.

Keyahn Sethi had two goals andNathan Yuhnick had a goal and Gabriel Cawley had an assist.

Thomas D’Onofrio was 8-for-24 on face-offs for Seton and Julien Montalvo had 10 saves in goal.

“It was good to get back on the field,” Horseheads coach Jason Neaubauer said. “The boys responded well after last week’s loss to Hilton (Section 5). Good luck to Seton the rest of the way, their kids battled all game.”
