CORNING — Two Horseheads pitchers combined on a two-hitter as the Blue Raiders topped Corning 9-0 at Corning Community College on Friday.

Micah Hays allowed one hit and struck out four in three innings and Andrew Wood struck out two and allowed a hit in four innings.

Dom Russ and Cooper Ball each had three hits on the day. Russ had a triple, two RBI and four runs scored and Ball had two RBI and a run scored, with a double.

Mason Holloway had two hits, with an RBI, and Trevor Reidy had a double and an RBI.

Keagan Monahan had a hit and scored a run and Josh Stout scored a run.

Carter Rosno and Kyle Miller had hits for Corning.

Nolan Terwilliger had six strikeouts in six innings and Logan Moore struck out two in an inning.
