HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS: CORNING PICKS UP 7-0 WIN OVER BINGHAMTON (2024-04-19)
Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning Hawks tennis team picked up a 7-0 home win over Binghamton on Thursday afternoon.
In first singles Cole Hawkins won 6-3, 6-3 over Andrew Sumpter and at second singles Connor Martinec won 6-0, 6-2 over Charles Edwards.
At third singles Sam Masaki won 6-1, 6-0 over Jaden Lankford and at fourth singles James Nishimoto won 6-4, 6-2 over Simon Pangilinan.
In first doubles Djordje Marjanovic and Maxime Gonzalez won 6-1, 1-0 over Sean Lee and Isaiah Merke and at second doubles Ethan Roloson and Tomasso Cruciani won 6-0, 6-0 over Jaezelle Darrah and Charlie Ostrander.
At third doubles John McKane and Grant Terwilliger won 6-4, 7-5 over Alex Koterba and Sam Clark.
