HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: ELMIRA SHUTS OUT ITHACA FOR 2ND STRAIGHT DAY (2024-04-19)

CORTLAND — The Elmira baseball team threw a combined four hitter as they beat Ithaca 10-0 in Cortland at PBR Field on Thursday afternoon.

Logan Demember allowed two hits in five innings, striking out seven and Quinn Hanrahan allowed two hits in two innings with two strikeouts.

Elmira allowed four hits in the past two games against Ithaca, shutting out the Little Red in both games.

Aiden Palmer had three hits and two RBI and Demember and Ben Rhode each had two hits. Demember had a double and scored three runs and Rhode had an RBI and a run scored.

Brady Morrell had a hit and two RBI and Mike Palmer, Bobby Cavalier and Jack Cavalier each had a hit and scored a run.

Nolan Edwards, Jack Stemerman and Hanrahan scored runs in the game.
